1 Kings 18:46(NLT) says, “Then the Lord gave special strength to Elijah. He tucked his cloak into his belt and ran ahead of Ahab’s chariot all the way to the entrance of Jezreel.”

Brethren, let us remind ourselves the definition of unimaginable once again, as “Difficult or impossible to believe, inconceivable.” God is indeed willing and able to do and offer us the unbelievable, unheard-of solutions.

In the context of the text in 1 Kings 18:1-40 God gave prophet Elijah bold and special strength to take on 450 prophets of Baal and 400 prophets of Asterah who are supported by Jezebel (King Ahab’s wife) and defeated and destroyed them. You see, God searches the heart and will use anyone who is willing to obey and embrace his word.

Therefore, when you describe something as unimaginable, you are emphasizing that it is difficult to imagine or understand well, because it is not part of people’s normal daily experiences. Something that is so bad, good, big (unimaginable pain or wealth) indicates that the word can be positive or negative. In this case, it meant an advancement to the kingdom of God by Elijah enforcing the Judgment of God upon them according to (Exodus 22:18, Psm 7:9, 2 Thess.1:6-9). This victory was terribly bad for the kingdom of darkness and their prophets but shows forth the believer’s authority in Christ Jesus, hallelujah amen.

God through the power of the Holy Spirit empowered Elijah to provide unimaginable solutions in Israel. Thereby confirming the scripture in John 14:12-15, which says,

“I tell you this timeless truth, the person who follows me in faith, believing in me, will do the same mighty miracles that I do, even greater miracles than these because I go to be with my father. For I will do whatever you ask me to do when you ask me in my name, and that is how the son will show what the father is really like and bring glory to him.” He says, ask me anything in my name and I will do it for you. Loving me empowers you to obey my commands” (Love for Christ is proven and demonstrated by our obedience to all that he says).

Furthermore, fellow believers in Christ, let us allow God to empower us supernaturally, so we can do extraordinary deeds in God and for our Lord and Saviour Jesus. He is the complete fullness of deity Living in human form. And our own completeness is now found in Christ Jesus. We are filled with God as Christ fullness overflows within us. Jesus is the head (Source) of every kingdom and authority in the universe, according to Colossians 2:9-10.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the season to crank up our faith by believing in the word of the Lord and have the confident expectation for its manifestation now and always. I pray for someone reading and listening to this message, “May the Almighty God supernaturally strengthen you to do greater works and that you will step up to take your place in the spirit realm far above principalities and powers in heavenly places, in Jesus matchless name, amen.
